This experience will be delivered via a simple PDF that has a module by module video experience included. The value of this material is significantly higher than the cost, but it is priced at a level simply so I hope you think twice before purchasing — and motivating you to actually consume the content. I wish to share this knowledge with people at an incredibly accessible level — because more confident (& capable) leaders is exactly what the world needs.
The Confident Leader's Secret is half coaching, half teaching in terms of style. Because I expect you to be yourself, and decide if the concepts I expose you to in this experience suit *you*.
There are 4 principles in this experience. Below is what you can expect in a bit more detail.
1. Getting to know your leadership style
In this principle, you'll explore your leadership style through a metaphor. Knowing who you are as a leader is the key to unlocking your confidence in being your true, authentic self. This is important, as trying to become someone you are not is a sure fire way to always feel like you are an "imposter" in any leadership role.
2. Understanding how to create a feeling of safety
Rooted in the Amy Edmonson's research on Psychological Safety, in this session you'll get to know the 3 types of failure - and how to include them as a leader. You'll also begin to understand the role humility plays in leadership, and how to set a high enough performance bar for those around you so they don't end up the underwhemling "comfort zone".
3. Systematising influence
When you become a leader, you all of a sudden have a lot more ... less urgent things to work on. The important stuff, that can be easily procrastinated in favor of the task-based, accomplishment-satisfying work you're used to. In this session you will learn a framework that makes delegation take less time and feel more accessible, alongside a model for motivation that will help you influence those around you. Lastly, we'll explore how one of the key things leaders need to do is build systems - and way to think about doing that.
4. Learning how to really listen
You've likely never been taught how to listen. Once you learn & understand the 3 levels of listening, your life - leadership and otherwise - will be forever changed. Listening is what great coaches are excellent at. They also have a few tricks up their sleeve in how they frame and ask questions, of which you'll learn the 3 most work-friendly ones.
At last but not least - at the end of each session, you'll get a homework assignment that allows you to put your new knowledge into action. And at the end of all 4 principles, I've included a bit of guidance as to how to put it all together.
