Let’s get creative
Creative Writing is my love language.
To be fair, so is glitter.
And the highest of vibe pop music (Beyonce, Lizzo, Dua Lipa, please!).
I write because it offers me a space to process the world.
It used to be something I kept behind closed doors. But as I’ve slowly shown the world my passion, I was able to see that my insights created a deep impact on the world around me, too.
Below are a collection of some of my published & work-in-progress writing where I’ve felt most recognized.
My hope is that more people begin to express themselves fully, authentically & creatively.
the serendipitous way
A new kind of fictional novella.
—
The Serendipitous Way is my first book and is currently being submitted to publishers. It is a story made up of 10 parables, each with a distinct main character who recounts a ‘defining moment’ of their life. While each parable is a disparate story, they are all inter-linked through a serendipitous encounter of each of the main characters. The wisdom found in each chapter is communicated in the more traditional ‘an interaction triggers a reflection of memories’ & ‘powerful monologue’ style approaches, alongside more modern ‘guided spiritual meditations’ & ‘immersive experiential learning’ approaches. The reader will finish hopeful that their most energized, authentic & ‘best’ life is in fact within reach. If you are a publisher and this resonates, do get in touch.
the experiment
A poem published in a Human Design magazine by Sam Zagar.

When one desires a park bench. How does one find it? Do they google it, maybe ask someone. Or better yet walk blindly?
To trust ones inner compass. The magnetic monopole. The blasphemy, the anarchy. Of listening to ones soul.
You might say you born with it. You believe ones life is fated. Or is your life’s greatest work. To believe you can create it.
The minority who manifest. The guides who are invited. The sacrals who respond. Either way, you should feel delighted
The way one finds the desired park bench. Is uniquely them. There is no right or wrong. Just an inner knowing that creeps in.

A recurring feature in The Spiritual Pasta Club, the below is a prompt provided for readers to creatively discover their purpose.

We often default to growing into our most aligned future selves through things like ‘climbing the ladder’ or ‘feeling the fear and doing it anyways’. These are great ways to feel like we are on the path to our purpose, but they aren't the only way. This month, let us soften into our most Extraordinary self through writing a Shakespearean sonnet. Through this tangible profession of self-love, you will be increasing your magnetism ten-fold.
To write your Shakespearean Sonnet, let's first pause to reflect on your Extraordinary self.
First, think of some things that you are that you're in love with. A homebody. A magician. A force of nature. A multi-dimensional woman.
Then, think of some things that you do that you love. Writing. Gardening. Mothering. Wintering.
And of course, think of some things that have led to your most successful moments. Serendipity. Choosing your energy. Surrendering. Standing for what you believe in.
A Shakespearean Sonnet is 14 lines across 4 stanzas. The first 3 stanzas are 4 lines (rhyming on alternating lines). The final stanza is 2 lines (which rhyme together). Let your intuition guide you as to how you weave in who you are, what you do & how you find success into one beautiful bit of poetry. Let this be a love letter of Shakespearean quality to your most Extraordinary & magnetic self.
Extraordinary Kelly
She is a woman of many dimensions. Living in her serendipitous rhythm. Chock full of desires & penchants. With as many facets as an infinite prism.
She mothers and writes in a trance like flow. Calming her mind with inversions and ohms. Her invited guidance is as magical as snow. Most of her life spent within a mile of home.
She believes in an energized future. Practicing white magic behind closed doors. Of the womanhood queendom she is a ruler. Always the person ones child adores.
She is empowered, no longer striving to be remembered. She is relaxing, into the land of having surrendered.
