I believe we are stuck in an outdated rhythm

Separating from our children for 9 hour stretches

Spending our days on phones & computers

Compartmentalizing our identities dependent on our environment

Suffering for the sake of belonging

I believe our minds, hearts & spirits are paying the price

The way we live is no longer working for families

Yet each day we put a smile on our face.… and say “I’m fine”

We should be able to choose our hard

I believe we can create change for the next generation

I’m not a complainer

I’m a changemaker

I recognize patterns

& I experiment with this knowledge in my own life
