Hi! I’m Kelly Snodgrass

writer & speaker on permission & belonging

I believe that becoming is discovered, not planned - and it starts with the labels you’ve yet to question.

I’m here to help women claim permission to celebrate their unique role in society. I do this by curating spaces that make change feel easier, so permission arrives (more) quickly.

Because I never had a role model.
And I want to be one, for women like me (and my daughters).

Because I don't enjoy society as it stands.
And I want to inspire a new one, for women like me (and my daughters).

Because it took 15 years to discover myself.
And I don't want it to take as long for women like me (and my daughters).

An essay on how discovering my needs is what makes labels powerful.

For over 2,000 years, humans have written instructions for machines. We've never written them for ourselves. This is the story of the manual I finally wrote, with just five instructions (discovered one by one) that ensure I can operate as the woman who is Kelly Snodgrass.

What If You Came With Instructions?
